St. Dympna’s Church, was part of my recent trip to Ireland. Although I was there to play golf, I took time to sight see and photograph.
We passed the Iglesia de Santo Domingo one evening on our way to dinner. The lighting on the structure was perfect so I pulled out my cell phone and captured this shot.
St. Nicholas Church of Ireland is located in County Limerick near Adare Castle. It’s home to a private school but still operates as a church.

The window detail of the Chapel of the Sacred Heart is amazing. I really like stained glass artwork and churches are a great place to see it.
The Chapel of the Sacred Heart is located on Jackson Lake. Built in 1937, it features a rustic wood interior and a stained glass window.
Trinity Episcopal Church was built in the 19th century and it is a great example of Gothic Revival and Victorian Gothic styles.
I photographed the Maria Lanakila Catholic Church while visiting Maui in the fall of 2014. I was attracted to it because of it’s brightness and symmetry
After capturing the image of the Church at Kahakuloa, I decided to walk around the building to find other photo opportunities when I came across a broken window.
Kahakuloa, Hawaii, is a very small town on the northern side of Maui. It is there where I photographed this church in the fall of 2014.
I had seen the USAF Academy Chapel from afar many times and decided during one of my trips to Denver that I would stop and photograph this very iconic structure.
I recently made a trip to Buffalo, NY in June of 2015. Having arrived a few days before the event, we stopped at the Our Lady of Victory Basilica in the southern part of the city.
