During the summer of 1999 I made a trip to eastern Arizona / western New Mexico in search of interesting photography opportunities. I stopped in to have lunch at the Blue Front Cafe in Glenwood NM where I met Lea Jones. Lea inquired about my photography skills and asked if I would consider trading some photography work for a week long ride on horseback with her next group of customers. I immediately agreed and spent nearly 10 days with the group photographing their activities. One night, I loaded my high speed film and set my ISO to 12,800 and took these images using only available light, which was very dim.

The Pima Air & Space Museum was founded in 1966 as a private, non-profit museum located in Tucson, Arizona. I visited the museum in 1999 and took my black and white gear with me.
