Austin Night Skyline

The economy in Austin continues to flourish and as a result the skyline continues to change.  In fact, it’s changed dramatically since I photographed this Austin night skyline back in April of 2012.  Some work colleagues and I decided to go on an evening photo walk in downtown Austin and this area was one of our first stops.  We spent around 30 minutes here shooting the downtown skyline, using flashlights to light up various objects and experimenting with our gear.  For me, this is the only shot during this stop that turned out well. Every photographer in this area has probably taken an image from this vantage point, so, this is my rendition of this Austin skyline at night. :)
