It is time for my spring trip to Big Bend National Park in west Texas. One of the first events was the hike up Grapevine Hills Trail to photograph a Balanced Rock Panorama.

This post is very similar to the post I did yesterday. It’s the same but different. It’s the same area, same day, same general time of day, both are panoramas but, there are two distinct differences.
The Green River Basin is a great place to shoot a sunset. A Green River Sunset was on my list of places to shoot when I visited Moab.
How To: Panoramas: I love taking panoramas. It’s one of my favorite things to do. It fulfills an artistic and technical need, and, the results are great to look at.
I took this image from the pedestrian walkway on the soutside of the river near downtown Austin. The magnificent colors in the clouds backlit the image.
