One of the first things I saw when entering Gold Point, Nevada, was this water well truck. How can you miss this bright yellow vehicle! There was also a very nice fire engine that I wished I had photographed. The challenge with this photo was the very large street light that was just to the right of this scene. I’m fairly happy with this image but not sure about the shadow cast on the building by the vehicle. It is growing on me though.
This image was taken with my Sony A7R II using my Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 Lens set on 16mm. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f/5.6, shutter speed at 20 seconds and the ISO set at 2000. I used a tripod for this photo. There was a bright street light to the right side of the photo which lit up the scene. I lit the left side of the truck with my Coast HP7R with some custom filters. This is a single image processed in Lightroom and completed in Photoshop using Nik Color Efex Pro.
