Dog Walker

I was out photographing the Chicago Skyline at sunrise yesterday morning when I stopped to photograph a dog walker on the shores of Lake Michigan. I waited for the pack to align with the sun before I captured the image. The morning was quite cold and crisp but the wind died down from the day before so it was tolerable. There were many people out getting their morning exercise jogging along the trails that parallel the lake.

This image was taken with my Sony Alpha A7R II using my Sony 16-35mm f/4 Lens set on 35 mm. The camera was set on Aperture priority mode with the aperture set at f/22, shutter speed at 1/50th of a second and the ISO set at 100. I used a tripod for stability. This is a single image processed in Lightroom and completed in Photoshop using Nik Color Efex Pro.
