Today marks the one year anniversary of my photography site makeover and my first blog post. The primary goal of the makeover was to establish a photography blog and to post a daily photograph and story. I’m happy to say that I was able to accomplish this goal for the first year and I look forward to continuing this going forward. One of the benefits of the daily blog is that it motivates me to photograph and hone my photography skills.
I have selected four of my favorite photographs taken during the last twelve months. The first photograph is of the Austin skyline taken at dusk. The second image is of Balanced Rock taken at Big Bend National Park. Next is a photograph taken at dusk at Howard Murph Memorial Park in Rockport, TX. Lastly, a photograph taken in Austin at the Pennybacker bridge at sunset.
I want to thank all of you that subscribe to my blog or follow me on social media. I want to especially think those of you that commented on my photos and offered words of encouragement. This has helped me become a better photographer.

Congratulations, Terry. This an awesome foursome. Beautifully done. The balanced rock image is the best I have seen to date of all the many photos I have seen of this special place.
Thanks Rick! I do have fond memories of taking the Balanced Rock photo.
Congrats Terry.
Thanks Lucas!
