Turkey

I posted an image yesterday of some fall leaves in a stream. The image below is a broader view of the location where that image was taken. The stream below is called Turkey Creek so I thought it was appropriate for this weekend.

The flow from this creek flows through Emma Long Park and eventually dumps into Lake Austin. There is a very nice nature trail loop that follows the creek. One of my favorite sites along the trail is a grotto located near the turnaround point which features a wall of ferns. The trail is primarily used by dog owners to walk their dogs.

This image was taken with my Sony Alpha a7R DSLR using my Sony FE 16-35mm f/4 Lens set on 16 mm. The camera was set on Aperture priority mode with the aperture set at f/22, shutter speed at 8 seconds and the ISO set at 100. As was the case with yesterday’s image, all processing was done with the new Aurora HDR software.
