As I walked around Arlington National Cemetery I ran across a whitewashed building and noticed a white door and black lamp.

At Alcatraz, nicknamed “The Rock”, a prisoner had four rights: food, clothing, shelter, and medical care. Everything else was a privilege that had to be earned.
