Eryngo Flower

I photographed this Eryngo flower last week at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center about a couple of hours before the photo of the Eryngo Plant that I wrote about yesterday. I thought it would be a good idea to show some of the detail of this very interesting flower. It is hard to see the details of the flower on this low resolution photo so I uploaded a full resolution version to the site. Click here to see it.

This image was taken with my Sony A7R II Digital Camera using my Sony 90mm f/2.8 Macro Lens. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f/8, shutter speed at 1/100th of a second and the ISO set at 400. I used only natural light to light the subject. I captured a total of four photographs and brought them together in Photoshop. I finished the image in Lightroom and Nik Color Efex Pro.
