Sunrise at Fulton Beach

Once I was done shooting the sunrise from the end of the old dilapidated fishing pier, I moved over to the right to get a better alignment with the location of the sunrise at Fulton Beach. The algae in that location was equally attractive so moving over allowed me to capture a wider portion of it and also to give better perspective of the fishing pier. I think I like the portrait orientation better, but this one is nice as well.

This image was taken with my Sony A7R IV using my Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 Lens set on 21mm. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f/14, shutter speed at 30 seconds, and ISO set at 100. I used a 6-stop Lee filter to extend the exposure time and a Circular Polarizing Filter to minimize the glare on the water. I also used a tripod for stability given the long exposure. This is a single image processed in Lightroom and completed in Photoshop using Nik Photo Efex 7.
