I captured this panorama of the Teton Mountain Range Vista from the Jackson Lake Lodge<\/a> in the Grand Teton National Park<\/a> during our last morning there. We expected the weather to be bad so we had given up on any photography opportunity, Then the skies opened up and the mountains showed through the low-hanging clouds. The wonderful fall colors were spectacular. I actually had to lower\u00a0the saturation on the photograph so that it would not look over saturated. I also cropped the image down to a manageable size. Jackson Lake Lodge is located within the Grand Teton National Park near the town of Moran, Wyoming. The Lodge, completed in 1955, has 385 rooms, various restaurants, conference rooms and offers many recreational opportunities. The Lodge is owned by the National Park Service but operated by the Grand Teton Lodge Company. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in July, 2003.<\/p>\n

This image was taken with my\u00a0Canon EOS 5DS<\/a>\u00a0using my\u00a0Canon EF 24-70mm f\/2.8L II Lens<\/a>\u00a0set on 70 mm. The camera was set on Manual\u00a0mode with the aperture set at f\/18, shutter speed at 1\/2 of a second and the ISO set at 100. I captured ten images and\u00a0I stitched them together into one image using Lightroom. I did the preliminary processing in Lightroom then completed the image in Photoshop using Nik Color Efex Pro. I cropped a significant portion of the image to showcase the most interesting portion.<\/p>\n
