The colorful museum sunset below was taken a few minutes after the photograph that I posted earlier this week titled Buffalo History Museum Sunset<\/a>. I decided to stick around until the sun set below the horizon and delivered the wonderful hues you see in this photograph. I see a lot of photographers give up when the sun sets. I have noticed that the best colors, especially in high clouds, come after the sun has set.<\/p>\n

The building that houses the museum was constructed in 1901 as part of the Pan American Exposition. The building is the sole surviving structure of the exposition. Designed by George Cary, the building’s south portico is meant to evoke the Parthenon in Athens. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1987.<\/p>\n

Buffalo History Museum Sunset<\/figcaption><\/figure>This image was taken with my Sony Alpha A7R II<\/a> using my Sony 16-35mm f\/4 Lens<\/a> set on 16 mm. The camera was set on Aperture priority mode with the aperture set at f\/22, shutter speed at 1\/8th of a second and the ISO set at 100. This is a single image processed Lightroom and Nik Color Efex Pro.<\/p>\n
