I appreciate all of you that followed my travel\u00a0and lived vicariously through my daily blog posts. Thank you for your comments and praises. One of the best things about international trips is coming home! I&#8217;m always delighted to land in my home country\u00a0because I know the comforts of home are\u00a0right around the corner. Unfortunately, our flight from Johannesburg was delayed 90 minutes which caused us to\u00a0miss our connecting flight so we were rebooked on a new flight which got delayed then the next flight was delayed&#8230; So, we arrived at home 10 hours late. Not bad on a 40-hour itinerary. But, I&#8217;ll catch up now that I have a good internet connection. I have thousands of photos to sort through so it&#8217;s a good use of my time.<\/p>\n<p>I took this photo at 3:45AM (CDST) over the Atlantic Ocean at an altitude of 40,000 feet. The photo does not do the scene justice. The window was so dirty and it had so much frost that it was hard to get a sharp image. Also, I was tired and I did not want to pull my camera out of the overhead bin so my iPhone had to do. I just used the stock camera application. I probably should have used Camera+ but I was too tired to think it all the way through&#8230; This was a single image processed in Lightroom and Nik Color Efex Pro.
