I you have not visited\u00a0the Whole Foods<\/a>\u00a0flagship store in downtown Austin then you have missed a fantastic experience. Their flagship store is by far the best grocery store in the country. It’s not your typical grocery store though. They\u00a0have an abundance of great products and\u00a0they have a variety\u00a0of food stations preparing top-notch meals. In addition, they have entertainment activities from time to time. It was while meeting some relatives there for lunch that I encountered an\u00a0Argentinian band playing music from their native land. I have been working on my\u00a0Austin Live Music<\/a> portfolio for some time and I have been looking for\u00a0musicians playing certain instruments. The violin was one of those instruments. So, I was happy to encounter this wonderful and cheerful band playing great\u00a0music from\u00a0a great land!<\/p>\n

Whole Foods Market was founded in Austin, TX back in 1980 as a natural foods market. The original name was SaferWay (a spoof on the grocery chain Safeway). The store was heavily damaged in the Memorial Day flood of 1981. They had no insurance but the community came together and helped clean-up the mess and rebuild the store. Today, Whole Foods is the 30th largest retailer in the country and employs over\u00a090,000 people in their 431 stores in the US, Canada and UK. Annual revenues exceed $13 Billion.<\/p>\n

This image was taken with my Sony Alpha A7R II<\/a> using my Sony FE 90mm f\/2.8 Macro Lens<\/a>. The camera was set on Aperture priority mode with the aperture set at f\/6.3, shutter speed at 1\/60th of a second and the ISO set at 6400. This is a single image processed in Lightroom and Nik Silver Efex Pro. As I mentioned previously, I have setup a preset in Silver Efex in order to maintain the same look and feel throughout the collection.<\/p>\n
