I can’t believe this is my 200th \u00a0post. It has definitely exceeded my expectations. It seems like it was only the other day that I was writing my 150th<\/a> post. My how time flies. The image in this post was taken a couple of hours after the image from the “ATX<\/a>” post earlier this week. After sunset we decided to go eat at a nearby restaurant and then walked back over to the same spot to capture the Austin skyline after dark. I really like taking nighttime photos but they are challenging to take. So, they are even more\u00a0rewarding knowing that the level of difficulty is higher than normal. One of the challenging elements during this particular photo shoot was the fact that we were dealing with fairly long exposures and the light wind was going to be a factor with the flags. So, we “painted” the flags with two flashlights that we had and I waited for a lull in the wind before I captured this image.<\/p>\n

This image was taken with my\u00a0Sony A7R II<\/a>\u00a0using my\u00a0Sony FE 16-35mm f\/4 Lens<\/a>\u00a0set on 24 mm. The camera was set on\u00a0Aperture priority<\/a>\u00a0mode with the aperture set at f\/4 (to minimize the flag movement), shutter speed at 2 seconds and the ISO set at 400. This image was processed from a single image using Lightroom and Photoshop.<\/p>\n
