I often talk about how I took a few bracketed images (-2, 0, +2) and how I\u00a0brought them together using special software (e.g. Photomatix). I thought it would be helpful to show you how an image looked before and after this process. So, I put together a before and after slider that compares\u00a0the &#8220;zero&#8221; image (the one the camera said was the best) and the HDR image (after completing my post-processing). \u00a0You can access the page for this comparison <a href=\"http:\/\/tkahler.com\/blog\/before-and-after-hdr\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The image below is of a\u00a0bathroom of the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jerome_State_Historic_Park#Douglas_Mansion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Douglas Mansion<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jerome,_Arizona\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jerome, Arizona<\/a>.\u00a0Jerome is one of my favorite places to visit when traveling in Northern Arizona. Jerome is located about 100 miles north of Phoenix\u00a0and was founded in the early 19th century on top of Cleopatra Hill (5,000 above sea level). It was supported in its heyday by\u00a0rich cooper mines. The Douglas Mansion, built in 1916, was once home to Jimmy Douglas, owner of the Daisy Mine. The camera was set on <a href=\"http:\/\/tkahler.com\/blog\/glossary\/aperture-priority\/\">Aperture Priority<\/a>\u00a0mode with the aperture set at f\/4, shutter speed at 1\/40th of a second and the ISO set at 100.
