Although this is mostly true during the sunrise and sunset hours, it’s also true in other situations. So, I’ve gotten in the habit of looking around to see if there are any other photo opportunities. This was the case the other day when I was shooting some flowers around the house. I turned around and saw this fantastic moon. It was not a full moon but it was crystal clear. So, I pointed my camera in that direction and took this image. It was much better than the other subjects I had chosen and it was never part of the plan. So, when you are out shooting a subject turn around and look behind you. You might be surprised what you see someday.

<img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" data-attachment-id="4810" data-permalink="https://tkahler.com/blog/2015/11/moon/attachment/4810/" data-orig-file="https://tkahler.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/20151031-Daylight-Moon-001.jpg" data-orig-size="1500,1000" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-meta="{"aperture":"6.3","credit":"Terry B.
