This post is very similar to the one\u00a0I did yesterday<\/a>. Actually, it’s the same but different. It’s the same area, same day, same general time of day, both are panoramas but, there are two distinct differences. \u00a0First, I used a longer focal length (longer lens) in this image. \u00a0Yesterday’s image was a 26m focal length and this one is a 42mm. \u00a0That accounts for the height difference and also for the greater amount of golden color in the sky (because I’m zoomed in a bit more). Second, I used a much smaller aperture. \u00a0I used f\/8 in yesterday’s image and the one below is f\/22. The reason I changed to f\/22 was to get a bigger starburst\u00a0on the sun. It worked.<\/p>\n

This image was taken with my\u00a0Sony A7R<\/a>\u00a0using my\u00a0Sony 24-70mm f\/4 lens<\/a>\u00a0set on\u00a042 mm. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/22, shutter speed at 1\/6th of a second and the ISO was set at 100.\u00a0I took a total of 10 photographs and stitched the panorama together in Photoshop. Final work was done in both Photoshop and Lightroom.<\/p>\n
