I found this very nice specimen during my trip to Big Bend National Park earlier this year. The cactus flower is a colorful yellow and brown flower with a green stigma. I took the image of this cactus while hiking the trail to Cattail Falls. The stigma reminds me of those sugar-coasted fruit rollups. I used my Canon MT-24 Twin Flash to light the subject. The camera was set on Manual Mode with the aperture set at f\/16, shutter speed at 1\/200 and the ISO set at 100. Processing was done in Lightroom.<\/p>\n<p>Click on the image to get a better look at it.
