My last post was rather wordy so I’ll keep this one short. \u00a0I spotted\u00a0this Rain Lily (Cooperia pedunculata) back in May growing in the wild area of my property. \u00a0I was about to have knee surgery so I could not kneel\u00a0down to shoot it\u00a0so I decided to take it into my light box to shoot it instead. It was a very good specimen and the lighting and background really worked out well. \u00a0You can read more about this plant by visiting my Texas Wildflower page here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Rain LilyThis image was taken with my Canon Canon EOS 5D Mark III using my EF100mm f\/2.8L Macro IS USM set on 100 mm. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/8, shutter speed at 1\/15 at ISO 100. This image was shot in my studio using my light box. \u00a0I took a total of 13 shots and used Helicon Focus to assemble the focus stack final image. \u00a0The lighting was done with 3 LED lights.<\/p>\n
