In addition to the cumulus clouds, the fog around the basin helped make the scene even more appealing. I photographed this scene of a foggy Chisos Mountains with interesting clouds two days after the storm. This photograph was captured just off the pullout at the beginning of the Chisos Basin Junction, the road that leads to the Chisos Basin. This road closes each time the park gets a significant snowfall. If you happen to visit the park, I highly recommend traveling up this road to the higher elevations to witness the change in scenery from a desert landscape to a pine forest. It&#8217;s worth the trip to the top. The camera was set on&nbsp;Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/5.6, shutter speed at 1\/200th of a second, and ISO set at 100. I used a tripod for stability.
