Rockport is the epicenter for birders who want to see Whooping Cranes in the wild. The Cranes migrate in the winter to the area and they can be found in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fws.gov\/refuge\/aransas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Aransas National Wildlife Refuge<\/a>. It was there that I was able to photograph this Whooping Carne with a Crab in its beak. This is one of the largest crabs I have seen them catch. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/4, shutter speed at 1\/500th of a second, and the ISO set at 640. I used a tripod for stability.
