I took a <a href=\"https:\/\/tkahler.com\/blog\/2020\/02\/lensball\/\">similar photo<\/a> about two years ago when I visited Yellowstone NP in the winter of 2020. One of my goals this trip was to find more creative ways to use this great toy. So, I set out one morning and hiked up to the Old Faithful observation point to photograph Old Faithful through a Lensball. This is the result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lensball acts as a prism so the image comes out upside down. I decided not to manipulate the image in photoshop to correct the effect. The camera was set on&nbsp;Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/25, shutter speed at 1\/640th of a second, and the ISO set at 640. I hand-held the camera for this photo and focused on the Lensball from about 12 feet away.
