It was during a recent visit that I had the opportunity to tour the area and photograph some of its features. The springs around Mammoth are some of the most amazing features in the park. The toxic nature of the springs makes it impossible for vegetation to grow. This dead tree is evidence of the impact the falls have on vegetation. The camera was set on\u00a0Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/7.1, shutter speed at 1\/200th of a second, and the ISO set at 1600. I hand-held the camera for this photo.
