I’m always amazed at the things I find in the park. The water constantly reshapes the landscape and creates some amazing scenes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Central Texas is home to a multitude of springs and waterfalls. Pedernales Falls State Park, located on the Pedernales River, offers a beautiful view as water rushes down the rocky landscape. The river flows over a bed of 300 million-year-old limestone, through ranches, farms, canyons, towns, and, 106 miles later, pours into the Colorado River. The river flows calmly until it hits the falls where a 50-foot drop creates a multitude of swirls and rushes among the limestone. I highly recommend visiting the falls when you visit Central Texas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1125\" height=\"1500\" data-attachment-id=\"15953\" data-permalink=\"https:\/\/tkahler.com\/blog\/spring-at-pedernales-falls-2\/\" data-orig-file=\"https:\/\/tkahler.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/20200317-pedernales-falls-sp-54-edit.jpg\" data-orig-size=\"1125,1500\" data-comments-opened=\"1\" data-image-meta=\"{"aperture":"14","credit":"Terry B.
