It is one of the few areas you can capture a sunset in this part of the gulf coast. So I set out to photograph a colorful sunset on Copano Bay. It took me two visits to get this beautiful and colorful sunset. The first try was overcast and gray. We got a wonderful sunset the following day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Copano Bay was inhabited by the nomadic Aransas Indians, who constructed camps along the shore about 4,000 years ago. The Aransas people left the area approximately 700 years ago and were replaced by the Copane Indians, for whom the bay is named. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/11, shutter speed at 25 seconds and the ISO set at 100.
