We made our way to a popular rookery where I photographed this Great Blue Heron landing on it&#8217;s nesting area. The winds were from the right direction and we were able to photograph these magnificent birds as they came and went. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/5.6, shutter speed at 1\/1600th of a second and the ISO set at 125. I hand-held the camera for this image.
