The Grand Prismatic bacterial mats are some of the most colorful bacterial mats in the park. I used a polarizer to enhance the colors and to help minimize the reflection. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/11, shutter speed at 1\/60th of a second and the ISO set at 100. I used a tripod for stability and my polarizer filter to eliminate the refleciton on the surface.
