It is located along the Firehole Canyon Road and it is located near the Fountain Paint Pot area, another one of my favorite spots in the park. I like this area because there are so many great photo opportunities. I will post some of them in the days ahead.<\/p>\n<p>Tangled Creek was named by the United States Geological Survey in 1885 because of its unique chaotic path. The creek is a network of separate channels which cross and recross and interlace with each other in the most unusual way. Tangled Creek looks like a ribbon, weaving in, around and through the trees.\u00a0It is beautiful all year around, but it really shines in the colder, winter months. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/14, shutter speed at 1 second and the ISO set at 100. I used my Syrp 10 stop filter to lengthen the exposure and I used a tripod for stability.
