I photographed this Brown-Eyed Susan (Rudbeckia hirta) during a trip to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in the spring of 2018. I was attracted to this flower by the clump of bubbles on its stem. I am not sure where it came from and whether it is something the plant produced or if it came from an insect. My sense is the latter. If you know, please opine.<\/p>\n

Brown-Eyed Susan<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This image was taken with my\u00a0Canon EOS 6D Mark II<\/a>\u00a0using my\u00a0Canon EF 100mm f\/2.8L Macro Lens<\/a>. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/5.6, shutter speed at 1\/100th of a second and the ISO set at 400. I used a tripod for stability and my Kirk Focusing Rail<\/a> to obtain 10 images which I brought together into one image using Photoshop and the focus stacking technique. I then finalized the image in Photoshop using Nik Color Efex Pro.<\/p>\n
