Two posts in a row. I’m on a roll now… I am still catching up from the photos I took last year. This photo of an Autumn Sage was taken at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center last Summer. I struggled to identify it for a while so it went into a holding pattern. Hopefully I got it right!<\/p>\n
Autumn Sage (Salvia greggii) is a very popular landscape plant. It grows throughout the Southwest. One interesting tidbit about the Saliva species is that the leaves can be used fresh or dried for seasonings and teas, and the flowers are edible. It may be worth a try!<\/p>\n
<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" data-attachment-id=\"14295\" data-permalink=\"https:\/\/tkahler.com\/blog\/2019\/03\/autumn-sage\/autumn-sage-2\/\" data-orig-file=\"https:\/\/tkahler.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/20180725-lbj-wfc-ah01-edit.jpg\" data-orig-size=\"1125,1500\" data-comments-opened=\"1\" data-image-meta=\"{"aperture":"4","credit":"Terry B.
