Most of the Texas Bluebonnets growing in central Texas have gone to seed. I captured this specimen at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center earlier this spring. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get out more often to photograph more Texas Wildflowers. The camera was set on Manual\u00a0mode with the aperture set at f\/4, shutter speed at 1\/80th of a second and the ISO set at 100. I used a tripod for stability and my\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tkahler.com\/blog\/glossary\/kirk-fr-2-focusing-rail\/\">Kirk Focusing Rail<\/a>\u00a0to obtain 8 images which I brought together into one image using Photoshop and\u00a0the focus stacking technique.
