I made a couple of trips to the Dorgan House during my trip to Big Bend National Park earlier this year. We photographed the night sky with the Milky Way in the background and also this sunrise at Dorgan House.\u00a0 We had a spectacular sunrise that morning, which is an unusual event. Most of the time the skies are clear of clouds and devoid of color. This morning was a real treat.<\/p>\n

This image was taken with my\u00a0Canon EOS 5DS<\/a>\u00a0using my\u00a0Canon EF 16-35mm f\/4 Lens<\/a>\u00a0set on 16 mm. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/11, shutter speed at 1\/3rd of a second and the ISO set at 100. I used a tripod for stability. This is a series of four images processed and brought together into one image using the panorama feature in Lightroom. I then completed in Photoshop using Nik Color Efex Pro.<\/p>\n
