There are a limited number of vantage points to photograph the falls. I found this vantage point to be the best place to photograph the falls.<\/p>\n
Firehole Falls is located right next to Firehole drive which follows the Firehole River. The narrow and short waterfall sits amidst 800-foot thick lava flows that form the canyon walls. There is a small swimming area just upstream from the falls that is very popular in the summer months.<\/p>\n
<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" data-attachment-id=\"13770\" data-permalink=\"https:\/\/tkahler.com\/blog\/2018\/03\/winter-at-firehole-falls\/winter-at-firehole-fall\/\" data-orig-file=\"https:\/\/tkahler.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/20180203-firehole-falls-54-edit.jpg\" data-orig-size=\"1125,1500\" data-comments-opened=\"1\" data-image-meta=\"{"aperture":"14","credit":"Terry B.
