Our photography workshop group searched for a “Lone Tree” the entire time we were in Yellowstone National Park. We finally found one on the last day. This tree is located near Soda Butte along highway 212 in the north side of the park. It sat on the side of the hill and it’s shape was just what we were looking for. I decided to process this using special software to give it an old-fashioned look.<\/p>\n

This image was taken with my\u00a0Canon EOS 7D Mark II<\/a>\u00a0using my\u00a0Canon EF 100-400mm f\/4.5-5.6 II Lens<\/a>\u00a0set on 100mm. The camera was set on Aperture Priority\u00a0mode with the aperture set at f\/5.6, shutter speed at 1\/2000th of a second and the ISO set at 800.\u00a0I hand-held the camera for this image. This is a single image processed in Lightroom and completed in Photoshop using Nik Silver Efex Pro.<\/p>\n
