There are quite a few features along the trail in addition to the famous Paint Pots. One of my favorite areas is the stream near the parking area. The trees are victims of the toxic conditions but they make for great landscape photography.<\/p>\n<p>One of the interesting facts about this part of the Lower Geyser Basin is that it has all four of the hydro-thermal features found in the park (mud pots, geysers, hot springs, and fumaroles). You can see all of them by walking along the half-mile long boardwalk loop. While none of the geysers are as famous as Old Faithful, they erupt so frequently that you are almost guaranteed a great show on your short hike. The camera was set on Manual\u00a0mode with the aperture set at f\/8, shutter speed at 1\/200th of a second and the ISO set at 100. I used a tripod for stability.
