We spent the fourth day of the “Winter in Yellowstone” photography workshop in the Upper Geyser Basin of the park. I was walking around trying to find scenes to photograph when I ran across these prints in the snow. I was curious what walked through here and where it was going. My best guess is a coyote.<\/p>\n

The Upper Geyser Basin is home to the Old Faithful Geyser. The star attraction in the park. What most people don’t realize is that the\u00a0Upper Geyser Basin also boasts the largest concentration of geysers in the world, including many of the worlds largest geysers. It is also packed with tourists during the high season. I recommend arriving early to see the sites without large crowds.<\/p>\n

This image was taken with my\u00a0Canon EOS 5D Mark IV<\/a>\u00a0using my\u00a0Canon EF 24-70mm f\/2.8 Lens<\/a>\u00a0set on 28mm. The camera was set on Manual\u00a0mode with the aperture set at f\/14, shutter speed at 1\/15th of a second and the ISO set at 100. I used a tripod for stability. This is a single image processed in Lightroom.<\/p>\n
