The old home can be accessed by hiking the Dorgan-Sublett trail near Santa Elena Canyon in the southwestern part of the park. As I photographed this area I tried to imagine the original inhabitants trying to decide where to build their home and settling on this plateau. The views from this area are amazing. Stay tuned for more photos from this vantage point. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f14, shutter speed at 1\/40th of a second and the ISO set at 100.
