Columbines are among my favorite flowers. My all-time favorite columbine is the <a href=\"http:\/\/tkahler.com\/blog\/2017\/04\/longspur-columbine\/\">Longspur Columbine<\/a> that I photographed in Big Bend National Park in April of this year. The shape of these flowers is different than any other and I really enjoy looking at them and studying their details. The camera was set on Manual\u00a0mode with the aperture set at f\/8, shutter speed at 1\/30th of a second and the ISO set at 800. I used a tripod for stability and my\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tkahler.com\/blog\/glossary\/kirk-fr-2-focusing-rail\/\">Kirk Focusing Rail<\/a>\u00a0to obtain 11 images which I brought together into one image using Photoshop and\u00a0the focus stacking technique.
