This milk truck and limo were two of the more interesting and most photographed vehicles at the International Car Forest of the Last Church located near Goldfield, Nevada. I mentioned in a previous post that this location was part of the night photography workshop I attended. I am not a big fan of this type of photography but I did enjoy the challenge of lighting the subject and finding new and interesting ways to photograph them. For this photo, I lit the inside of the vehicles with tea lights. I had to sacrifice a few of them in the limo because I did not want to crawl up there. It seemed a bit risky to do so. So, I just tossed them in there and left them there. I lit the headlights with a snoot attached to a flashlight. The outside of the vehicles was lit by the ambient light provided by the very bright moon.<\/p>\n

This image was taken with my\u00a0Sony A7R II<\/a>\u00a0using my\u00a0Sony FE 16-35mm f\/2.8 Lens<\/a>\u00a0set on 16mm. The camera was set on\u00a0Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/5.6, shutter speed at 20 seconds and the ISO set at 3200. I used a tripod for this photo. I lit the inside of the milk truck and the limo with some tea lights. The outside of the vehicles was lit by the moon. I used a flashlight with a snoot to simulate the headlights. This is a single image processed in Lightroom and completed in Photoshop using Nik Color Efex Pro.<\/p>\n
