I photographed this old jeep at Keys Ranch while attending a night photography workshop in Joshua Tree National Park. I wrote about Keys Ranch in a post earlier this year. You can read about keys ranch for that post by clicking here<\/a>. One of the things I learned during my night photography workshop was how to light paint an object. Sometimes light painting is a team effort and that was the case with this old jeep. I used an LED flashlight with a filter to mimic incandescent lighting to light paint the jeep while team members operated the cameras. I used a different light to light paint the wind mill and the water tower.<\/p>\n

I am on my way today to another night photography workshop. This time it is to Nevada where I plan to photograph an Old Ghost Town and old cars. Old Jeep at Keys Ranch<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This image was taken with my\u00a0Canon EOS 5DS<\/a>\u00a0using my\u00a0Canon EF 16-35mm f\/4 Lens<\/a>\u00a0set on 16mm. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/5.6, shutter speed at 20 seconds and the ISO set at 1600. I used a tripod\u00a0for stability. This is a single image processed in Lightroom and completed in Photoshop using Nik Color Efex Pro.<\/p>\n
