I captured this panorama of the right side of Juniper Canyon at sunrise at the end of Lost Mine trail during a recent trip to Big Bend National park. The morning air was fresh and dry but the downside was no clouds. One day I will be able to get a great photo of this area with some awesome clouds. The problem is that it’s a 2.5-mile hike with an 1,100 foot elevation change with lots of switchbacks. It’s an exhausting but very rewarding hike. The views are certainly spectacular.<\/p>\n

Juniper Canyon Sunrise<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This image was taken with my\u00a0Canon EOS 5DS<\/a>\u00a0using my\u00a0Canon EF 16-35mm f\/4 Lens<\/a>\u00a0set on 16mm. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/8, shutter speed at 1\/40th of a second and the ISO set at 100. I used a tripod\u00a0for stability and my Kirk Long Rail to avoid Parallax issues. This is a series of five images brought together in Lightroom and completed in Photoshop using Nik Color Efex Pro.<\/p>\n
