It was a very wet, windy and rainy that day making it hard to photograph. Long exposures were especially difficult. But, I had my mind sent on this type of photograph so I did the best I could under these conditions.<\/p>\n<p>I did some research to determine how these colorful rocks were formed. The best hypothesis is that they broke off from the cliffs above and were shaped by the rough seas and relentless surf. The camera was set on\u00a0Manual Mode\u00a0with the aperture set at f\/11, shutter speed at 13 seconds and the ISO set at 100. I used a tripod for stability and my Syrp neutral density filter set on 6.
