It was highlighted in a few of the Dingle Peninsula maps as a palace to visit so we stopped in to take a look. It is a very interesting structure and, architecturally, very well designed and built.<\/p>\n<p>The oratory is built of large cut stones from the area. The stones are cut on every side and end so as to fit perfectly together. The oratory&#8217;s shape has been compared to that of an upturned boat because of its sloping side walls. The camera was set on\u00a0Aperture Priority mode with the aperture set at f\/11, shutter speed at 1\/25th of a second and the ISO set at 100. I used a tripod for stability.
