Traipsing through the &#8220;garden&#8221; was quite the experience. Those of you that have come in contact with Chollas know what I&#8217;m talking about. Cholla pods tend to stick to everything. I even had one of the pods attach itself to my tripod leg. My shoes were saturated with them but I escaped serious injury.<\/p>\n<p>I decided to use my lower resolution camera to photograph this Cholla. I conducted testing the prior night using my higher resolution camera and I decided to conduct some tests\u00a0using this camera. Although lower resolution, the results are much better (less noise). The chollas were lit by moonlight only. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/4, shutter speed at 20\u00a0seconds and the ISO set at 3200. I used a tripod\u00a0for stability.
