It is a joy to fly and I\u00a0consider it a\u00a0natural extension to my photography hobby. At the suggestion of a good friend of mine, I volunteered to shoot some aerial photography and video for\u00a0the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin, TX. The Marketing Director had planned out several routes within their facility that he wanted to capture. My friend and I showed up yesterday morning early and flew five routes. I captured this photograph of the &#8220;Family Garden&#8221; during the next-to-last route. The Family Garden is an area for children to play and it is filled with hands-on activities. The play areas are somewhat hard to discern in this photo but if you look closely you will see them. What\u00a0intrigued me when I arrived at home and began processing the photos is how this view offers such a new perspective. I&#8217;m not sure if the motorcycle design was intentional or not. I will have to ask that when I return for part two of my assignment. \u00a0I will be sure to let you all know when the final product has been put to use.<\/p>\n<p>On another note, I have been quite busy lately so my daily postings have faltered. My apologies. \u00a0I will be attending a photography workshop all of next week so my sporadic postings will probably continue.
