This location is both a sunrise and a sunset location and is located about 26 miles west of the town of Terlingua, TX. We like this location because it is one of the highest vantage points in the area and, as a result, the views are magnificent. The wind was blowing quite hard the morning I took this photograph and it was another near cloudless sky. Two things you don&#8217;t want as a landscape photographer, but very typical for our trips to the area. The clouds we did have messed up my starburst a bit. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/14, shutter speed at 1\/15th of a second and the ISO set at 100. I used a tripod\u00a0for stability. I captured six images and brought them together into one image using Lightroom&#8217;s panorama feature. I then copped it down to this size and finalized it in Photoshop using Nik Color Efex Pro.<\/p>\n<p>This image is best viewed large. Click on the image to enlarge it.
