Who doesn’t like a nice cheetah? I had the opportunity to pet this cheetah while visiting the Cheetah Rehabilitation Center<\/a>\u00a0in the northwestern region of South Africa.\u00a0The center\u2019s goal is to care for Cheetahs, Serval Cats, African Wildcats and Caracal (Lynx) which have been orphaned or injured in the wild and are in need of care and rehabilitation. The Center offers tours and you can even pet one of the cheetahs (under very close supervision) during the tour. They are quite docile but they do get upset and frustrated very easily. Those of you that own cats probably know what I’m talking about…<\/p>\n

This image was taken with my\u00a0Canon EOS 5DS<\/a>\u00a0using my\u00a0Canon EF 70-200mm f\/2.8 Lens<\/a>\u00a0set on 200 mm. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f\/5.6, shutter speed at 1\/320th of a second and the ISO set at 500. \u00a0I handheld the camera. This is a single image processed in Lightroom and finalized in Photoshop using Nik Color Efex Pro.<\/p>\n
