If I were a painter I would certainly put Artist’s Point in Yellowstone National Park high on my list of places to visit and paint from. The view there is not only spectacular but also highly visited. Many families choose it as the perfect family vacation photo backdrop. It\u2019s a short walk on a paved trail from the South Rim Drive. \u00a0I posted a photograph of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone<\/a> last year which featured this same waterfall. This photograph is taken from the same vantage point but with a bit of a zoom. I highly recommend visiting Artists Point if you plan to visit the park.<\/p>\n

Artist’s Point View<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This image was taken with my\u00a0Canon EOS 5DS<\/a>\u00a0using my\u00a0Canon EF 100-400mm f\/4.5-5.6 II Lens<\/a>\u00a0set on 241mm. I captured this image using my tripod for support. The camera was set on Manual\u00a0mode with the aperture set at f\/5, shutter speed at 1\/100th of a second and the ISO set at 100. This is a single image processed in Lightroom then finalized in Photoshop using Color Efex Pro.<\/p>\n
